The Van Meter Girl’s improved to 6-4 on the year with a 36-32 win at Pleasantville on Friday night. On a challenging offensive night, the Bulldog’s defense stepped and held Pleasantville to 29% shooting from the floor and down the stretch, forced the Trojans into tough half court possessions. Van Meter collected 17 steals on the night and assisted on 9 of the 15 made baskets. Van Meter looks forward to another 3 game week starting with Grandview Christian on Monday night at home starting at 6:15pm.
