Natalie Barth scored 12 points to bring Van Meter to a 49-30 victory over Earlham on Monday. The Bulldogs wrapped up the half at 23-17 on the strength of a 16-4 run. Van Meter solidified their lead in the third quarter, scoring 15 points.
Barth was the front runner for Van Meter’s offense with 12 points, including five during the first period. She also contributed 10 rebounds for her first double-double on the year. Clair Lauterbach (12 points, 2 steals) and Kelsey Roberts (12 points) each sunk multiple three-pointers. Also helping the effort for Van Meter were Emily Roberts (7 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 steals) and Jorja Hanselman (4 points).
