The Van Meter Junior Varsity girls basketball team was back in action at Pleasantville last Friday night. The lady dogs were hoping to continue building on improvements they’ve made every game. The JV girls feel behind early but kept it close throughout the entire game giving themselves a chance to win down the stretch. Some early shooting struggles held the girls back who were lead offensively by Danielle Jones who had ten points. The Van Meter girls second leading scorer was Raegen Wiedman with six points. The girls are back in action tonight at home against Grandview Christian.
