The Bulldogs faced Adair Casey-Guthrie Center on Tuesday December 4th, and the Chargers came out, and gave the Bulldogs their best shot. The Bulldogs were solid defensively throughout the game, and that effort kept them in the game early when the offense was not flowing. The Bulldogs and Chargers were tied 7-7 after the first quarter, as the Chargers banked in a desperation 3 at the buzzer.
In the second quarter the Bulldogs woke up offensively, and continued the intensity on defense, keeping the Chargers under 7 points each quarter. The Bulldogs used their offensive rebounding to build a lead, and Skyler Yazzie led the way with 7 rebounds, 4 of them being on the offensive end.
In the second half the Bulldogs continued to use ball pressure, and tipped passes to get into their transition offense, and score in transition. The Bulldogs pulled away more in the 2nd half, and won the game by a score of 48-22.
The Bulldogs are at home again on Thursday Dec. 6th against Ogden.
