The 7th grade football team traveled to Pleasantville on Thursday Sept. 19th, and came away with the win by a score of 6-0. They started the season off on the right foot and moved to a 1-0 record. The game was only two quarters due to low numbers from Pleasantville, but it was great to see the Bulldogs get their season kickstarted.
The lone touchdown of the game came off a 37 yard quarterback keeper from Charlie Matt. the two point conversion came up a yard short, and the Bulldogs went up 6-0. Defensively the Bulldogs played very well, and kept Pleasantville off the scoreboard.
The Bulldogs will play a full game against Earlham on Sept 26th. They will follow the 8th grade game and begin around 5:30.
