Girls Finish 4th @ Panorama

The bulldogs were back on the track Thursday night for the Panorama Relays. There were a total of ten teams in attendance, and the lady bulldogs finished 4th place overall scoring a team total of 77 points! Lowman wins WCAC long jump title

Anthony Lowman captured the WCAC long jump title with a personal best jump of 20’5″. Van Meter finished 6th overall with 69 points. 3rd place finishers for the Bulldogs were Ben Trent in the high jump, the shuttle hurdle team and the 4-100 relay. The Bulldogs return to action Thursday at Panorama.

VM Girls Finish 5th @ Conference Meet

The bulldogs were back in action on Tuesday May 3rd for the West Central Activities Conference. Teams included: Panorama, DMC, Madrid, Guthrie Center, West Central Valley, Woodward-Grager, Ogden, Earlham, and Van Meter. Van Meter High School Girls Varsity Golf finishes 2nd place

Monday, May 2, 2016 9:00 AM Place 2 Points 0 Meet Recap The Van Meter Girls Golf team finished 2nd in the WCAC Conference Golf Meet. Senior Lizzy Lyon was the 3rd place medalist with a 100 and Sophomore Molly Carey brought home the WCAC Individual Conference Championship with a 92. Opponents School Place Points

The Van Meter boys track team placed 3rd in the 2016 Dave Tapps Invitational with 104 points. Madrid finished first with 142 and Earlham was the runner up with 124. VM Girls Finish 4th at Dave Tapps Invitational

The lady bulldogs finished 4th at the Dave Tapps Invitational. The teams that were in attendance at the meet included: Iowa Christian Academy, Murray, Orient-Macksburg, Martensdale, Earlham, Des Moines Christian, Grandview Christian, Central Decatur, West Central Valley, CAM, and Mt. Ayr. (12 total)   The bulldogs scored a season high of 93 total team points

Girls Track Finishes 5th @ ADM Invitational

The girls were back in action on Tuesday night for the ADM invitational, hosted at Van Meter’s facilities.
