The boys took third in the Dave Tapps Invite finishing with 107 points trailing Madrid and Mount Ayr. The Bulldogs won the 4×200 (1:36.09) with the team of Calvin Sieck, Parker Fryer, Spencer Lamb and Zach Drummond. Van Meter Girls Win Dave Tapps Invitational

The Van Meter girls won the Dave Tapps Invitational Thursday night rolling up 148 points. Mount Ayr was second with 134. Van Meter’s 4×200 relay team of Mackenzie Blomgren, Shea Rhodes, Natalie Barth and Meagan Blogren set a new school record in 1:52.15. Van Meter finished second to Mount Ayr in that event. The boys track team finished 3rd at WCV finishing with 101 points. ACGC won the meet with 127 points. The Van Meter girls rolled to the team championship at the WCV invitational totallying 175 points and winning 12 events. ACGC was 2nd with 130 points.
