Two more school records fell over the weekend at the state track meet. In Friday’s prelims of the 4-400 relay Nora Matt, Clair Lauterbach, Maya Herman and Natalie Barth ran a new school record in 4:08.99 to qualify 8th for the finals. On Saturday the same group came back and finished 7th and again broke the record this time running 4:06.38.
On Friday the 4-200 relay team of Mackenzie Blomgren, Shea Rhodes, Matt and Meagan Blomgren broke the school record running 1:50.38. The team finished second in thier heat and 14th overall.
Natalie Barth ran 19th in the 400 hurdles for the girls in a time of 1:10.59. Creighton Netten ran the same event for the boys and finished 15th in 58.15.
The girls shuttle hurdle relay finished 6th in a time of 1:09.16. Cari Walton joined Jenna Schlueter, Abby Archer and Barth in that event.
The girls ended up with 10 points at the state meet.
