The Van Meter Bulldogs (11-0) will take on the West Lyon Wildcats (11-0) this Saturday, November 11th at 1:06 PM in Cedar Falls at the UNI-Dome.

Van Meter qualified for the playoffs as the champions of Class 1A District #6. The Bulldogs advanced to the Semifinals with a 24-6 win over Belmond-Klemme in the 1st Round and a 27-6 victory at Denver in the Quarterfinals.

West Lyon qualified for the playoffs as the champions of Class 1A District #1. The Wildcats advanced to the Semifinals with a 35-0 win over IKM-Manning in the 1st Round and a 42-3 win over Western Christian (Hull) in the Quarterfinals.

Tickets may be purchased in advance in the Secondary Office at the school during the school day this week. All tickets are $10.

You may also purchase tickets on-line if you would like.

Tickets are available for purchase on-line through the UNI-Dome.  There is a special promotion code for your fans to use to purchase tickets.  We encourage your fans to purchase tickets on-line or in advance through the school to avoid waiting in line at the UNI-Dome to purchase your ticket.  There is no service charge for your fans to purchase tickets on-line if they use the special promotion code.

Congratulations to your football team, school, and community on securing a berth in this week’s Iowa high school football semifinals at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls. The Iowa High School Athletic Association and its title sponsor, the Iowa Farm Bureau, are committed to providing the best experience possible for state tournament participants. This week, that effort includes broadcasting all 12 semi-final games live for TV and Internet audiences.

The Iowa High School Sports Network (IHSSN) holds the broadcast rights for several IHSAA championship events, including football semifinals and finals, and offers various viewing platforms for each game. NBC Sports Chicago (NBCSCH) is the network with which the IHSSN has contracted, and it is available on several regional subscription packages. Its alternate station NBCSCH+ will carry evening semifinals, as well.

To make these options easy to understand, we’ve outlined ways to watch these games on NBCSCH and NBCSCH+ below:
