Van Meter 7th Grade Boys Basketball beats W-G 43-18

The Van Meter 7th grade boys opened up their season with a victory, 43-18, over Woodward-Granger on Monday night. The bulldogs came out aggressively on defense opening up a 14-0 first quarter lead. Van Meter lead at half time by 11. Out of halftime, Van Meter continued a strong defensive effort that led to transition points, pushing their lead to 18 in the first 3 minutes of the 3rd quarter. 10 different Bulldogs scored on the night, largely due to steals and fast breaks. Van Meter closed out the game pushing the final lead to 25 points.

Van Meter moves to 1-0 on the season and will be back in action Thursday at home vs Earlham
