Game Recap

The 8th grade bulldogs started the season on Thursday September 7th @ Madrid. The bulldogs came away with the victory 30-8. The offensive success came early and often, Aaron Pollard scored on a 4 yard run in the first quarter. 2pt conversion by Korbin Barck.

In the second quarter it was more of the same with Korbin Barck scoring on a 5 yard run, that was set up by a long run from him as well. The last play of the 2nd quarter also resulted in a touchdown for the bulldogs. A 48 yard pass from Jack Pettit to Korbin Barck. The 2pt conversion was also successful giving the bulldogs a 22-0 lead at halftime.

The sole touchdown in the 2nd half came from a 7 yard pass from Ganon Archer to Caden Peterson. Caden demonstrated great hand-eye coordination, bobbling and catching a tipped pass. Aaron Pollard ran in for the 2pt conversion.

Defensively the bulldogs held tough for 3 quarters, and were led by defensive linemen Lincoln Olsen and middle linebacker Korbin Barck.

The bulldogs will be back in action Next Thursday @ Woodward-Granger. 4pm kickoff.
