Game Recap

The 7th grade football team made their debut Thursday night at Madrid. They came away with the victory, and held their opponent scoreless. The victory did come with a few growing pains, but the bulldogs battled through.

Also in the 2nd quarter Ben Gilliland threw a TD pass to Carter D. for 6 yard. The 2pt conversion was successful.

To open the 2nd half the bulldogs received the kickoff and wasted no time as Ben Gilliland returned the kick 78 yards for the touchdown. Lucas Drummond punched in the 2pt conversion to put the bulldogs up 22-0.

In the 4th quarter Ben Gilliland scored again on a 10 yard run, this time as running back.

Defensively the bulldogs held very strong led by a linebacking core of: Michael Steinfeldt, Carter D, Lucas D, Michael Banks, and Will G.

The bulldogs will be back in action on Thursday, September 14 @ Woodward Granger. 7th grade game will once again follow the 8th grade game starting around 5:15pm.
