JV Baseball Keeps Rolling Against AC-GC

Van Meter scored five runs in the second, fourth, and sixth innings en route to a  17-3 victory over AC-GC on Monday.  Van Meter collected ten hits in the contest.  Caleb Peterson, Zach Pleggenkuhle, and Chris Reames each collected multi-hit games for the visitors.  Petersen, Adam Wallace, and Brett Berg each drove in three runs apiece.  The Bulldogs stole 16 bases during the game as four players stole more than one. Pleggenkuhle led the way with five.

Chris Reames earned his first win throwing three innings, surrendering three runs(all unearned, one hit, striking out four, and walking one.  Caleb Peterson held AC-GC hitless over the final three frames, striking out five, and walking two, in his longest outing of the season.  The win improves the JV’s record to 8-0.
